This rig-bit is used for making the rear release mechanism for Gyro Release Rigs – combined with a Westin Release Clip – also found here at releaserigshop.com. Size 10 is used for the most delicate rigs and size 5 for the rigs made for larger baits. You can read how to make this rig on page 318-319 the book “Pike Fever” – also found on releaserigshop.com. This type of release rig gives the highest obtainable landing rate of all the release rigs for hard baits.
