When using release rigs for pike you primarily work with split rings in the size range from #1-#2 – and for this purpose you need a split-ring plier with a small and slim but very strong beak. Unfortunately there are very few split rings pliers suited perfectly for this purpose on the market. We have used Owner Split Ring Tool GP 20 for years and this high end plier is in our minds the best tool we have tried for this purpose. Unfortunately it is not produced anymore, but we are lucky to still have a few left in stock. So – don’t hesitate in buying this fantastic precision instrument now.

This plier is also very good for tightening wire tags and has a built in wire cutter.
